What You Will Need To Do: (Key Responsibilities)
Team Leadership
● Hire Right: Recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing team.
● Stay Aligned: Maintain an open dialogue with teammates to stay plugged in and on track.
● Plan Ahead: Implement succession planning to nurture future leaders.
Operational Excellence
● Scheduling: Develop and maintain efficient work schedules, adapting to operational needs.
● Continuous Improvement: Lead process improvement initiatives, proactively identifying and implementing enhancements.
● Side-by-Side: Provide on-the-floor leadership for employees to offer real-time support and coaching.
● Client Relations: Serve as the daily point of contact to make sure that service level expectations are met.
Performance Management
● Resource Utilization: Oversee labor costs and manage budgets to meet financial targets.
● Efficiency: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
● Reporting: Ensure accurate billing and timely financial reporting.
Requirements
● Strong hands-on leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance. (3+ years in aviation or a relevant service industry).
● Outstanding listening and communication skills and the ability to build strong team member and client relationships.
● Ability to work in a self-managing team .
● Business knowledge to manage budget s and drive cost efficiencies .
● Flexibility to work in different shifts including weekends and holidays - to lead by example and stay in touch with the operation.
