Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced High-End Custom Home Designer/Drafter to join our team. As a designer/drafter specializing in luxury residential projects, you will be responsible for creating extraordinary custom homes ranging from $5 million to $25 million. Proficiency in Revit is a requirement for this position.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and lifestyle, and translate them into exceptional custom home designs.
* Develop conceptual designs that align with the clients' preferences and budget, incorporating luxurious architectural features, high-end finishes, and unique elements.
* Produce detailed construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and schedules, using Revit.
* Create 3D models and renderings to effectively communicate design intent to clients and other stakeholders.
* Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP consultants, landscape architects, and interior designers to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in high-end residential design.
* Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and zoning requirements throughout the design process.
* Provide construction administration support by conducting site visits, addressing contractor queries, and maintaining design integrity during the construction phase.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a High-End Custom Home Designer/Drafter.
* Past projects need to range from $5MM to 425MM
* Strong proficiency in Revit and schematic design, with demonstrated experience in creating detailed construction documents and 3D models.
* In-depth knowledge of high-end residential design principles, materials, and finishes.
* Excellent understanding of architectural standards, building codes, and regulations.
* Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, consultants, and construction teams.
* Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional design solutions.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
* Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field is preferred.
