  Assistant Golf Course Operations Manager Requirements/Qualifications:

• 2-year certificate or equivalent in Turfgrass Science
• Must have a Florida Greens Industry certification and/or Florida pesticide License
• Supervise the daily preparation of the golf course, i.e. hole location, tee markers, rakes, hazard and O.B. markers
• Ensures that safety guidelines are being followed
• Performs sprayer and fertilizer spreader calibrations
• Assist in spraying pesticides, applying fertilizers on greens, tees and fairways
• Performs other assigned duties as needed
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines
