Salary Range : $70,000 - $90,000

Position Overview

We are seeking former community association managers who are passionate about helping HOAs and community management companies navigate the complex world of insurance. The Insurance Coordinator will act as the bridge between our sales team, management companies, and HOA boards, using their unique understanding of the community association industry to deliver customized support and risk management solutions.

This role involves a mix of client interaction, sales team support, and risk management strategy, ensuring community associations receive exceptional service and expert guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Team Support

  • Assist the sales team in securing Broker of Record (BOR) agreements to transition clients seamlessly to SuperKey Insurance.
  • Contact incumbent brokers to gather and organize insurance data files to support policy placement and renewals.
  • Inspect properties and document property conditions to provide accurate risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with placement brokers to build comprehensive and accurate ACORD forms for insurance proposals.
  • Obtain and maintain a resident insurance license to ensure compliance with state-specific requirements.
  • Actively participate in regular training sessions and company meetings to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and company updates.

Management Company & Manager Support

  • Leverage your community management experience to serve as a trusted resource for management companies and their managers.
  • Attend sales presentations alongside management company sales staff, offering insurance expertise and insights into risk management.
  • Compile and deliver a list of tailored risk management best practices for management companies to share with their communities.
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive insurance data portal for management companies to ensure seamless access to critical information.
  • Utilize the company’s ticketing system to manage service requests and correspondence efficiently.
  • Host an annual insurance training session for property managers, sharing strategies for improving insurance coverage and compliance.

HOA Board Support

  • Attend HOA board meetings to provide insurance guidance, answer questions, and address concerns specific to community associations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for board members, offering prompt responses to inquiries and scheduling needs.
  • Lead annual insurance training sessions for HOA boards, empowering them to make informed decisions about their community’s insurance coverage.

Required Qualifications

  • Former experience as a community association manager or a deep understanding of HOA and community association operations.
  • Familiarity with the unique insurance needs and challenges faced by community associations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with property managers and HOA boards.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel for meetings, presentations, and property inspections as needed.
  • Active or willingness to obtain a resident insurance license.
