Accounting services firm specializing in winery accounting is looking for an outgoing, detail-oriented individual for full-time employment in our St. Helena Office. This is an entry-level position for someone who is motivated, has a great work-ethic and wants to build upon their current education and experiences to become a proficient accountant in the wine industry.

A partial list of key responsibilities and areas where training will occur:
•  Review and post trade payable bills in Bill.com for multiple clients.
•  Monitor multiple client email accounts.
•  Perform various daily tasks (e.g. bank deposits, post office or client runs).
•  Process incoming orders (create Sales Orders and generate invoices).
•  Basic reconciliations as needed (reconcile various Balance Sheet accounts as well as bank reconciliations).
•  Reconcile inventory balances at warehouses to books.

•  Professional attitude, appearance and interface with colleagues and clients.
•  Organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated.
•  Clear writing skills and good email management knowledge.
•  Self-starter, but feels very comfortable asking questions and learning.

Skills that you will have after a short time working with us:
•  Strong knowledge and understanding of Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online (AP, Bills, Check-Writing; Order Processing, Invoicing and AR).
•  Proficient in Excel with an eagerness to learn more, quickly.
•  You will become an expert in working with Bill.com and how it inter-faces with Quickbooks.
•  A broad understanding of how wineries of various sizes are different within the industry.
