To thrive in this position, you should have a minimum of two years of experience in a communications role, with a focus on external communications. A background in media, journalism, PR, or thought leadership is highly valued. This is a remote, full-time contract position with an anticipated duration of 6-8 months.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Crafting engaging content for multiple platforms, including blog posts, short-form content, press releases, and thought leadership articles.
- Keeping a pulse on employee discussions on platforms like LinkedIn and Glassdoor.
- Developing an in-depth understanding of employer branding and career-focused blogging.
- Overseeing the submission process for awards and accolades.
- Creating content that resonates with a global leadership perspective.
- Leveraging tools such as LinkedIn, Hootsuite, PR Newswire, Agility media database, Microsoft SharePoint, and LinkedIn analytics.
- Bonus points for experience in video content creation, including scriptwriting.
**Qualifications:**
- 2+ years of experience in a communications role.
- Proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS).
- A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional blogging skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- The capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- The ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
- A degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
