What You'll Do:
As a Communications Technician, you'll be the backbone of our communications network, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
Install, Maintain, and Repair: Work with state-of-the-art railway signals and communications equipment, keeping them in top condition.
Troubleshoot and Solve Problems: Use your technical expertise to analyze, isolate, and resolve equipment malfunctions.
Use Advanced Tools: Employ digital and analog multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic test instruments to diagnose and repair equipment.
Work with Technology: Use computers for diagnostics, software updates, and downloading event logs.
Ensure Safety and Compliance: Test, inspect, and repair equipment according to industry standards and safety regulations.
Provide Technical Support: Offer field and technical support for corporate data networks and other maintenance areas.
Learn and Grow: Become proficient in reading circuit drawings and understanding industry standards.

What You'll Bring:

Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions.
A Technician or Technologist Diploma in Communications or Electronics.
A valid Driver's License.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
The ability to follow instructions and regulations.
The capability of moderate to heavy physical labor.
The ability to work in a 24/7 on call environment.
