Salary Range: $23.13 - $26.26
*As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices
Position Summary Under direct supervision, is responsible for maintaining the safety and satisfaction of residents and guests within his/her assigned building
Job Responsibilities - Monitors access to the property and checks for valid identification.
- Greets all residents and guests upon entry. Announces and registers guests. Monitors the arrival and departure of vendors or contractors.
- Ensures that the Concierge Desk is secured at all times.
- Receives, sorts and distributes mail; accepts and signs for package deliveries.
- Ensures safety of residents. Responds to emergency situations and regulates unauthorized activity. Escalates issues as needed.
- Troubleshoots and resolves resident complaints.
- Coordinates move-in and move-out activities.
- Maintains a log of shift activity. Escalates any issues or concerns.
- Provides supervision of the porter staff when directed.
Education Experience Previous related experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Prior door person or front desk experience is preferred.
Licenses and Certifications Working Conditions/Physical Demands Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, early mornings and/or late nights
