The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s largest small business advocacy organization, is looking to hire a Content Writer & Coordinator to join its Public Affairs team.
Responsibilities:The Content Writer & Coordinator writes , edits, and publishes high volumes of internal and external content that powers NFIB’s print, digital , email, and social media marketing and communication materials in alignment with strategic NFIB initiatives. This position serves as a conduit to other NFIB departments and writes and edits compelling content that drives member engagement. Collaborates with the digital and communications team s to adapt/create content that is search-friendly and channel appropriate .
Collaborates with the Senior Content Manager and other members of the content team to develop and execute content strategy and acts as a resource, liaison, and consultant to other departments on content creation and publication.
Strong editing and writing skills , the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects at once , and strong collaboration skills are a must . Content Writer & Coordinator will be an organized self-starter with the ability to manage time and projects, communicate, and manage up and around. Must use sound judgment and discernment.
Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing . Adhere to Company and Department policies and procedures ; work outcomes must meet and/or exceed productivity and quality standards. Must be able to work as part of a cooperative team environment and independent of direct supervision . Responsibilities include reinforcing key organizational messages to foster employee understanding of NFIB mission and vision; exemplifies core values. Performs other projects as needed.
Salary Range for position - $60,000-70,000
Position is hybrid – must work in the DC office.
