We are seeking a
Senior Data Engineer with strong analytical skills and a solid background in data engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product experimentation, data analysis, and a deep understanding of various data sources. You will be responsible for running UAT tests, reviewing dashboards, and combining data from multiple sources to generate insightful results. This role requires someone who can work independently, lead end-to-end implementations, and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct product experiments on notifications sent via email and SMS, and analyze data to review experiment results
- Run UAT testing with stakeholders and review dashboards to ensure data accuracy and relevance
- Understand and utilize various data sources within the company to gather and combine data for comprehensive analysis
- Structure, maintain, and enhance code to ensure its reliability and efficiency
- Work independently to lead and implement data engineering projects from start to finish
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable data engineering tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Approximately 6 years of experience in data engineering
- Familiarity with ETL processes, Spark jobs, and Scala
- Experience using Airflow to orchestrate data-related jobs
- Ability to structure, maintain, and enhance code efficiently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders
