Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining various types of data in our systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter data into the company database and systems.
  • Verify and update existing data in the database to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Review data for errors and inconsistencies, correcting or reporting them as needed.
  • Organize and maintain physical or digital files and records.
  • Perform data backups and ensure the integrity of data.
  • Generate and prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other documentation as required.
  • Assist in managing the flow of information and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and photocopying when required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data security.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus).
  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar position.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy (minimum [XX] words per minute).
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and other data entry software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of database management is a plus.
