We are a locally owned dental practice seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant with experience to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will bring a background in dental assisting, excellent patient care, and a desire to provide exceptional support in a fast-paced environment. This role involves assisting our dentists in clinical procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring patients have a comfortable and positive experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including exams, restorations, and extractions.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Take dental X-rays as needed.
• Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
• Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and prepared for each patient.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
• Provide empathetic and friendly care to patients of all ages.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a Dental Assistant.
• Education: Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
• Certification: Current CPR certification
• Skills: Proficiency in dental software, X-ray operation, and sterilization techniques.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend software
• Additional certifications: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, patient-centered approach.
