DuraMark Technologies is a specialty printer with locations in Minnesota and Indiana. With over 75 years of experience, our talented team utilizes advanced technology to create high-quality specialty printed products. We provide prompt services and quick turnarounds by understanding our customers' vision and specifications. We have secured new contracts and are growing quickly!

We are currently in need of a full-time Digital Press Operator. Ideal candidates should have experience setting up/running digital presses (preferably) HP 2200, 3600, Indigo and INCA. This is not an entry level position. The perfect candidate would be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is easily adaptable, and is excellent at multi-tasking.

We are looking for a mid-shift position such as 11am-7:30, 12pm-8:30pm, etc.

Full-time positions come with full benefits on the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment. Compensation is based on experience.

Most important abilities/functions of this role?

• Produce a quality product. – Attention to detail, focus on color matching and print quality, reading customer supplied drawings, catch and/or bring attention to errors.
• Ability to work safely at all times and promote a safe work environment.
• Understand our manufacturing expedite list. – Requires attention to detail and an ability to allocate resources and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Adapt to changing schedule throughout the day. - Requires ability to switch priorities and focus on what tasks need to complete by end of day.
• Delegate the task list to others in the department if needed.
• Stay up to date with changing technologies and recommend new capital purchases if appropriate.
• Trouble-shoot print/color issues while working with Customer Service, Scheduling, Production Manager, and others to resolve.

Job Functions Include  (Digital print experience preferred but we will train the right person):

• Review and follow job ticket
• Surface any production challenges and/or specification inconsistencies with lead or manager
• Update job ticket for any changes to production plan
• Correctly set up job to meet specifications and requirements
• Continuously monitor print quality, color and registration
• Keep any quality errors separate
• Deliver job to correct staging area for next operation
• Monitor equipment website and other sources for new digital print methods and technologies that may improve efficiencies or quality of output
• Adhere to all maintenance processes and schedules
• Maintain proper inventory of all department consumables
