Job Description

* We’re excited to welcome new team members and are only considering candidates based in Washington State and Texas for this engagement. If you are not currently located in one of these states, you will not be considered.

We’re building a consultant roster to support both current and upcoming client projects and are looking for individuals with expertise in event strategy, corporate event execution, audience engagement, logistics management, stakeholder coordination, and more.

Many roles offer remote work options, with potential travel for key events. *

As a Marketing Consultant for AG Consulting Partners, a typical day might include the following:

  • Developing and executing strategic event plans that align with business objectives and audience needs
  • Managing all event logistics, including venue selection, budgeting, vendor coordination, and on-site execution
  • Working with internal stakeholders to curate event agendas, secure speakers, and ensure messaging consistency
  • Leading cross-functional teams to execute large-scale corporate events, ensuring alignment with business priorities and seamless collaboration across departments
  • Overseeing event operations, logistics, and on-site execution to create impactful attendee experiences and maintain Microsoft’s brand standards
  • Developing comprehensive event strategies that align with business objectives, target audience engagement, and key performance metrics
  • Measuring event success, analyzing KPIs, and optimizing future event strategies based on insights
  • Ensuring events create compelling, interactive experiences that engage and drive action among attendees
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and executive leadership to ensure event alignment and impact

Requirements

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience leading large-scale, high-profile corporate events with a strong strategic focus.
  • Experience working with executive leadership to align event strategies with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
  • Proven track record of managing budgets of $1M+ for large-scale corporate events, ensuring cost efficiency and high-quality execution.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee complex event timelines, logistics, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with event technology platforms , such as Cvent, Microsoft Teams, and virtual/hybrid event tools.
  • Ability to analyze event metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and optimize future event strategies.
  • Experience with audience engagement strategies , including interactive experiences, networking facilitation, and attendee journey mapping.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with multiple competing deadlines.
  • Experience managing external vendors and agencies , including contract negotiations, service agreements, and performance evaluations.

You might also have:

  • Recent Microsoft Experience: Two to three years of recent experience supporting Microsoft as a contractor or consultant.
  • Marketing Analysis Experience: Exposure to data-driven decision-making, campaign analytics, and performance measurement .
  • Passion for AI in Marketing: Interest in how artificial intelligence is transforming marketing strategies and customer engagement .
  • Familiarity with sustainability and accessibility best practices in event management.

The compensation for this position is tailored to reflect your unique skill set, relevant experience, and the current dynamics of the job market. We strive to ensure that our compensation package is competitive and fair, taking into account various factors to provide a rewarding opportunity for our team members.

The annual salary range for this role is: 100,000 - 125,000 in addition to our comprehensive benefits package.
