Our client, JIFFY mixes, located in Chelsea, MI is seeking Food Production Associates! These are full-time, long-term temporary positions and may even lead to direct hire. Location: JIFFY” mixes (Chelsea Milling Company) in downtown Chelsea

Compensation: Starting pay $18.00/hr. + shift differential + $0.50/hr. increase after 90 days + yearly/seasonal increases!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work on various production lines, operating equipment.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of product packaged.
• Inspect boxes and shipping cases for integrity and accuracy.
• Perform regular quality checks of product and packaging.
• Identify, remove, and report non-conforming product/packages.
• Troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Complete logs, check sheets, and other documentation.
• Follow sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform end-of-shift, end-of-week, and as-needed cleaning.

Here’s What You Need To Apply:

• Strong work ethic, highly dependable, reliable transportation, and good attendance are a MUST!
• Previous manufacturing experience is helpful, but not required.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, wearing necessary PPE and following food safety guidelines.
• Ability to perform essential physical functions, including heavy lifting up to 50-100 lbs (depending on position).
• Ability to work overtime as needed/required.
• Flexibility to transition to other shifts if needed.
• Successfully pass pre-employment requirements including a drug screen and criminal background check.
