Job Description

We are excited to welcome a passionate Special Education Teacher to our team in Thomson, GA! If you are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of students and creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment, this role is for you.

In this position, you will play a key role in shaping the educational experiences of students with diverse needs. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), adapting lessons to meet the unique needs of each student, and working closely with fellow educators to foster an inclusive, collaborative atmosphere. You'll also monitor student progress, ensure their growth, and participate in IEP meetings to provide valuable insights into each student's development.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement personalized IEPs tailored to each student's needs.
Adapt lessons and teaching materials to support diverse learning styles.
Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to support continuous growth.
Participate in IEP meetings to help guide educational strategies and goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Georgia Special Education Certification (required).
Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with Autism and behavioral challenges.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.

Schedule & Benefits:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
