Job Description
CMIT is looking for an experienced Hotel IT Manager to join our team. The Hotel IT Manager will manage IT projects effectively, including transitions to new systems and new hotels in the portfolio. Monitor and update project status, prepare and process required documentation and communicate project details to stakeholders and Corporate IT and leadership. Will also assist with on-site hotel preparation and installation activities during transitions and continue to support them after initial implementation. Support hotel management and corporate IT department in the control of expenses related to technical services and service providers.
Responsibilities
Design and develop IT systems making specific determinations about performance.
Expected to conduct system analysis and development, with limited support from professional staff, to keep our systems current with changing technologies.
Responsible for analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming.
Responsible for the development of new programs analyzes current programs and processes and makes recommendations to yield a more cost-effective product.
Assist in the smooth transition of network databases and email domains
Responsible for planning, processing, and performing all jobs in an efficient manner with no assistance from the supervisor
Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of staff.
Responsible for communicating with engineers and manufacturer's technical support staff regarding programming needs and performance.
Provide general administrative support
Provide feedback to staff about performance considerations/usability issues concerning software specifications and implementation.
Research and recommend software tools to management.
Provide recommendations to management concerning issues of programmer productivity and software development management.
Essential Functions

Install and configure PCs, servers, printers, network/ telecom equipment.
Install or service network and telecom cabling and cabling terminations.
High-level proficiency in Project Management and the ability to manage multiple projects.
A solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts.
Solid understanding of the principles of routing, client/server programming.
Possess excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on verbal and written communication and the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment.
Prepare reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends, and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
Participate in the development of long-range planning for new projects and facilities.
Experience and ability to teach or instruct co-workers.
Providing advice, training, and technical support for various projects.
Working closely with the management team in evaluating current systems and making decisions on future development.
Possess extremely advanced technical skills.
As new technologies emerge and impact our systems, expected to learn these technologies very quickly and resolve any problems involved in integrating new technologies with our systems.
In-depth knowledge of data structures.

Demonstrated ability to use standard computing tools: Word processor, spreadsheet, browser, email, and file compression software.
Overall knowledge of the computing environment at large, e.g. typical uses and user populations of operating systems, communications protocols, hardware platforms

Qualifications
Read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
Associates degree or equivalent in a business or information technology-related field.
Project Management certification preferred.
Experience in the administration of IT systems, networks, and security of 3+ years
Experience in configuration, deployment, and support of network equipment, including servers, routers, firewalls, switches, appliances, etc. of 3+ years.
Experience with Microsoft Server and VMWare operating environments of 3+ years.
Experience with data and voice telecommunications systems and services of 3+ years.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to travel freely.
Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
