Starting: $80,000
Year 2: $85,000

Our team is looking for an Internal Communications Specialist to join a dynamic Human Resources department focused on the most valuable asset—our people. You'll work with multiple teams, including Administration, Employee Communications, Payroll & Benefits, HR Information Systems, Legal, Risk & Security, Recruitment, and Training & Development, to make sure we continue fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
About the Role:
As the Internal Communications Specialist, you'll play a key role in leading companywide communications initiatives. Working closely with internal teams and designated business partners, you will identify communication needs, craft communication plans, and write engaging deliverables to ensure our internal message resonates companywide. You'll also advocate for the best communication experience for all employees while collaborating across departments to elevate the organization's communication strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet with business partners to understand their communication needs and build effective internal communication strategies.
Write clear, concise, and engaging communications to support company initiatives.
Lead internal communications projects and manage relationships across various teams.
Recommend new processes and procedures to help streamline the internal communications function.
Stay informed of current communication trends and technologies to keep strategies fresh and impactful.
Collaborate with external vendors when needed to ensure communication requests are fulfilled.
Ensure all communications align with the company's master brand and employer brand.
Represent the Internal Communications team in interactions with business partners.
Who You Are:
The ideal candidate is someone with strong written and verbal communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and a proactive attitude. You're adaptable, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are passionate about internal communications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business, or a related field required.
3+ years of progressive experience in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or Human Resources.
Proven ability to craft engaging written, digital, and verbal employee-facing content.
Knowledge of AP style and a knack for writing for diverse audiences.
Ability to use data-driven insights to develop effective communication strategies.
Work Environment:
Hybrid work model: Up to 3 days remote, with at least 2 days in the office.
Minimal travel required for training or project-related tasks.
