Responsibilities:
  • Monitor security alerts and incidents across various platforms and systems to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, conducting thorough investigations, and implementing necessary actions to mitigate risks.
  • Manage and maintain security platforms, including but not limited to firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Perform regular security testing, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits, to identify and address weaknesses in our infrastructure and applications.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and solutions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats, and provide recommendations for enhancing our security posture.
  • Conduct security awareness training for employees to educate them about security best practices and raise awareness of potential risks.
  • Participate in incident response drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of our security measures and improve our incident response capabilities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the resilience of our systems and operations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT security roles, with a focus on security operations and incident response.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security technologies.
  • Experience with security tools such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems, IDS/IPS (Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems), antivirus software, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Controls.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), or GIAC (Global Information Assurance Certification) are preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security incidents and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of cybersecurity.
