Position Overview:  

We are seeking a highly skilled Pilot Coach with over 15 years of experience in providing Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)-specific Training and Technical Assistance (TTA). The Pilot Coach will assist selected pilot sites in achieving the goals of the Fiscal Responsibility Act (FRA) Pilot Projects by linking TANF programs with state human services and workforce partners to enhance work outcomes.

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Assist selected pilot sites in achieving the goals of the FRA Pilot Projects by linking TANF programs with state human services and workforce partners for peer sharing and strategic visioning.

  • Coordinate TTA activities for assigned pilot sites, maintaining tracking documents and facilitating peer engagements.

  • Facilitate dialogue with the Office of Family Assistance (OFA), sharing insights and recommendations to improve pilot site experiences and outcomes.

  • Lead assessment activities to align TTA with team readiness and capture lessons learned throughout the pilot process.

  • Support sites in envisioning, designing, and implementing outcomes-oriented processes to enhance systems aligned with their unique TANF program structures.

  • Provide culturally competent services, particularly in tribal work and Healthy Relationships TA, to support grantees in achieving their objectives.

Qualifications  

  • 15+ years of experience in TANF-specific Training and Technical Assistance (TTA).

  • Expertise on a variety of topics to support TTA recipients and pilot sites.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide culturally competent services, particularly in tribal work and Healthy Relationships TA.

  • Experience in developing and providing tools, training, and resources to support grantees in achieving their objectives.

  • Ability to support opportunities for state workforce, human services, and education agencies to engage in peer learning and information sharing.

  • Strong knowledge of improving work outcomes, data identification, analysis, reporting, and building data capacity.

  • Proven ability to enhance program staff skills and capabilities in data systems and practice.

  • U.S. Citizenship required
