Job Description

Acupuncturist starts out as an independent contractor making $60 per initial 1.5 hour treatment and $40 per 1 hour follow up. Patients are seen on the half hour, meaning you have the ability to see 2 patients per hour, which is $80 hourly.

The right candidate will be:

• Licensed in NYS
• Have a clean background check
• Excited to learn, grow and be mentored by a senior practitioner who will teach you how to be incredibly effective, create lasting rapport with patients, hone your pulse and other diagnostic skills, treatment room energetics, 5 Element Acupuncture treatments and treatment approaches, and Classical Acupuncture pulse diagnosis, Compliment Channels, and classical treatment approaches
• Keep medical charts that are capable of being reviewed by insurance companies for medical necessity
• Be able to chart on the EMR platform Jane
• Capable of answering phone calls, texting and emailing with patients using clear communication and prompts if required
• Motivated to engage in and play an active role in marketing, content development, and neighborhood outreach via strategic cross promotional campaigns
• Willing and excited to develop mutually beneficial referral relationships with other practitioners from varying fields. We will help initiate and guide this process to make it easy and fruitful.
• Willingness to develop strong patient relationships and keep up with communication
• Energy Work and Bodywork a plus, if not, must be willing and excited to learn
• Herbalist a plus

• 4 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Weekends as needed
