Job Description

This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn and develop skills in preventive maintenance, calibration, diagnostics, and repairs for CNC lathes, milling machines, and other systems.

Shift flexibility is available, with openings on both first and second shifts. A 15% shift differential applies to second-shift employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, diagnostics, and repairs on CNC lathes and milling machines, including Mikron, Haas, and Hermle models.
• Learn and carry out routine maintenance for CNC machinery, identifying and resolving electrical and mechanical issues.
• Develop expertise in understanding complex control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC or facility systems, ensuring repairs address malfunctions effectively.
• Install and inspect heating, cooling, and ventilation systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Serve as part of the rotating on-call team to provide after-hours operational support, with additional on-call pay.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to acquire and apply electrical and mechanical knowledge. Proven troubleshooting skills are essential.
• A technical degree in electronics, machining, or a related field is preferred. Relevant work experience may substitute for formal education.
• Physical capability to navigate confined spaces, climb stairs and ladders, and perform tasks requiring stooping, crouching, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to pass a medical evaluation for respirator use and comply with associated requirements.
• Valid driver’s license, forklift certification (or ability to obtain it), and eligibility for a DOT medical card.
• HVAC/Facility Maintenance experience is a plus

Salary info:

$22 - $29 / hr
