The Hennepin County Public Health Clinic (PHC) is seeking to fill a Medical Assistant (MA) position for people with an interest in and experience working with a diverse population in a public health setting. This position will provide clinical support services to clients and families of refugees and those dealing with tuberculosis and STD/HIV conditions. The Medical Assistant will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team of medical providers including nurse practitioners, registered nurses, medical assistants, and community health specialists. In addition to direct patient care, this position will include lab coverage, managing Epic in-basket pools and completing some administrative duties.
The Public Health Clinic is a respected leader in providing comprehensive testing & treatment for tuberculosis, refugee health exams, and sexual health services through the Red Door Clinic.
