Must have Cisco ISE implementation and operational experience. Also experience with RADIUS, or 802.1X.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced  Security Architect to support our team during the architecture review process. This role requires technical expertise in security architecture design, strategic security planning, and risk management to ensure secure solutions are integrated across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will provide technical guidance, develop reference architectures, and drive secure implementations in alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and security expertise to IT and business teams to identify technology solutions and develop security reference architectures and strategies that achieve business objectives.
  
• Ensure proper implementation of security technology and reference architectures across development and production environments.
  
• Analyze user needs and requirements to plan and design enterprise security architectures.
  
• Design and develop enterprise-wide security strategies and solutions for all aspects of the security domain, aligning with organizational goals.
  
• Integrate and develop cybersecurity designs for systems and networks with multi-level security requirements.
  
• Collaborate on security requirements for procurement documents, including statements of work (SOWs).
  
• Provide technical guidance and expertise on secure application development, security risk assessment, and implementation of security policies and standards.
  
• Advise IT leadership on strategic security technology plans, translating proposed capabilities into actionable technical requirements.
  
• Support architecture review processes by identifying risks and recommending security enhancements to align with industry best practices.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Security Architect, with a strong understanding of security architecture frameworks and secure design principles.
  
• Expertise in developing and implementing security strategies, reference architectures, and technical solutions.
  
• Strong knowledge of secure application development, risk management, and security policies.
  
• Ability to analyse technical requirements and translate them into secure architectures.
  
• Experience supporting architecture reviews and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
• Must have Cisco ISE implementation and operational experience. Also experience with RADIUS, or 802.1X.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Nice to have any of the following certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or TOGAF.
  
• Experience with multi-cloud security solutions (AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms).
  
• Knowledge of industry compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS controls.
