We are looking for an experienced and motivated Network Security Architect to join our team and play a pivotal role in enhancing our security infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding the architecture review process and ensuring that secure solutions are integrated seamlessly across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of expertise in security architecture, risk management, and secure design principles. Your work will help shape the security strategies and systems that protect our organization's technology landscape.
As a Network Security Architect, you will collaborate with both IT and business teams, providing valuable guidance and developing security solutions that align with organizational goals. You will help ensure the proper implementation of security technologies and create comprehensive security strategies for various environments, from development to production.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with IT and business teams to define technology solutions and develop security architectures that align with business goals.
Oversee the implementation of security technologies across development and production environments, ensuring best practices are followed.
Analyze user needs to design robust, enterprise-wide security architectures.
Design comprehensive security strategies and solutions that cover all aspects of the security domain.
Integrate cybersecurity designs for systems and networks with multi-layered security requirements.
Work closely with procurement teams on security requirements for statements of work (SOWs).
Provide expert guidance on secure application development, risk assessments, and the implementation of security standards and policies.
Advise IT leadership on security technology plans, translating strategic goals into technical requirements.
Lead security reviews during architecture assessments, identifying potential risks and recommending solutions in line with industry standards.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Security Architect with a strong understanding of security frameworks and secure design principles.
Expertise in creating and implementing security strategies, reference architectures, and technical solutions.
Solid knowledge of secure application development, risk management practices, and security policies.
Ability to analyze technical requirements and translate them into secure, scalable architectures.
Experience supporting architecture review processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong practical experience with Cisco ISE implementation and operations, as well as RADIUS or 802.1X protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, or other related certifications are a plus.
Experience with multi-cloud security solutions (AWS, Azure, etc.).
Familiarity with industry compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS controls.
