The Department of Orthopedics at Banner Health and Banner Medical Group ( BMG ) is seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant to join our team of Orthopedic Surgeons in Payson, AZ. This is a robust and busy practiceproviding care to a varied group ofpatients with generalorthopedicand total jointsurgical needs.Our PA will round on patients onthe hospital floor;seepatients in the orthopedic surgery clinic and provide surgical first-assist in the OR. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, a critical thinker, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment andwork effectively within a team.
We are seeking applicants with:
+ Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant Program
+ Certification from The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants ( NCCPA )
+ Must have an unrestricted PA license in the state of AZ or eligibility to obtain by hire date
+ DEAwith full prescriptive authority required
+ BLS and ACLS Certification required
+ 1 – 3 years experience ina professional Physician Assistant role (Orthopedic/Surgical skill is a plus)
Practice Details:
+ Full-time | M-F, 8 AM 5 PM
+ Provide clinic-based procedures and OR coverage
+ PA will have a patient panel of new and existing patients
+ Supportive and comprehensive team consisting of 2 physicians, 2 APPs, 4 MAs and a rad. tech.
+ On-site Radiology
+ Call: Practice Call only no Hospital Call
