Nurse Practitioner – Neurosurgical ICU (High Pay Range)

Qualifications:

• NYS licensed/registered NP with a neurosurgical or critical care specialty.
• Minimum of three years of experience in neurosurgical ICU or neurocritical care.
• CPR, ACLS, and BLS certification required.

Duties:

• Manages neurosurgical patients with traumatic brain injuries, strokes, and spinal cord injuries.
• Assesses intracranial pressure, manages ventilator settings, and adjusts medications.
• Assists in neurosurgical procedures and post-operative care.
• Orders and interprets MRIs, CT scans, and neurological assessments.
• Works with neurosurgeons and ICU teams to ensure patient stability and recovery.
