Sensory Children- We start with children who cry, tantrum, and struggle then change their processing to bring laughter to all the family with successful experiences.

Feeding Therapy- Many of our children start with only eating gummy bears, goldfish and chicken nuggets. With a commitment to change, we advance children eating skills to sushi, steak, lobster. (One of our graduate's favorite foods now!)

Babies- Many babies come to us unable to breastfeed or bottle feed. Momma cry, babies cry and frustration increases. Our mission is to bring smiles to both and achieve success with baby gaining weight and drinking successfully. By doing this, we stop the picky eating cycle early and it never becomes a thing!

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant with a love for children who is willing to do what it takes, to change the lives of children forever. Is that you?

Professional Responsibilities

• State license in Occupational therapy and national board certified in Occupational therapy
• Address client’s aspects of performance to support engagement in occupations that affect health, well-being, and life quality
• Select and adapt the appropriate per case occupational therapy treatment model, method, and approach to direct the process of interventions
• Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in neuromuscular and picky feeding skills
• Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components
• Assessment and treatment of patient population 
• Guide and educate family members and caregivers
• Observe, note, and report on progress of long- and short-term treatment goals
• Collect data and document processes following appointment

Professional Skills

• Proven working experience as occupational therapist
• Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of occupational therapy
• Familiarity with Occupational therapy assessment- BOT-2, Peabody, Sensory testing  
• Assessment and treatment oral motor/ feeding interventions. (we will provide training)
• Experience with Pediatrics in clinical setting
• Assess and treat Sensory skills and level of development (we will provide training)
• Apply techniques with infant feeding difficulty (we will provide training)
