Actalent is hiring a Registered Pharmacy Technician!Job Description The pharmacy technician will perform various administrative tasks, assist the pharmacist-in-charge and other pharmacy staff as needed, and assist with occasional order filling. Responsibilities Assist with various administrative tasks in the pharmacy. Support the pharmacist-in-charge and other pharmacy staff as needed. Assist with order filling and cycle fills remotely from a store. Perform data entry, customer service, and labeling. Handle prior authorization and order entry. Verify up to 300 scripts per shift. Multitask effectively and manage time efficiently. Communicate strongly and effectively with team members. Essential Skills Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) License. Strong computer skills including typing, Excel, and Word. Bilingual abilities are strongly preferred. Dependability and strong attention to detail. Analytical thinking and ability to follow directions. Work Environment 100% onsite in a closed-door pharmacy. The schedule is Monday to Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break (option to shorten lunch to maximize pay). The work environment is high volume, filling 100-150 scripts per pharmacy team daily, and involves working closely in a team of three technicians and one pharmacist.
