Summary

This position is an integral part of a HRSA training grant received. The objective of this fellowship is to develop the skills to become a leader and advocate in adolescent health. This is a one-year fellowship. The goal is to become a leader and advocate in mental health. The LEAH grant supports collaborative interdisciplinary clinical, research, advocacy and teaching training and work with rigorous didactic opportunities for interdisciplinary learning.

Job Duties

• Provides evidence based therapy (individual, family, and group) to adolescents (aged 10-24).
  • Services are provided to patients who present with diagnoses such as eating disorders, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, medication adherence, and family conflict.
• Collaborates on ongoing research or develops their own research question with opportunity to present research at scientific meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD from an accredited doctoral program in clinical or counseling psychology. Completion of an APA-accredited predoctoral internship no more than five years prior to the initial appointment date.
• Experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting. Experience administering psychological test batteries, including projective measures.
