Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Public Adjuster Contractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing policyholders in negotiating and adjusting insurance claims to ensure fair and equitable settlements. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
Claim Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of property damage to determine the extent of the insurance claim. Inspect property damage to ascertain cause and extent of loss.
Documentation: Gather and document all necessary information, including photographs, repair estimates, and receipts. Prepare detailed reports for submission to insurance companies.
Negotiation: Represent policyholders in negotiations with insurance companies to secure fair settlements. Advocate for clients' best interests and ensure they receive the maximum entitled compensation.
Client Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the claims process. Provide regular updates and explain policy terms and coverage.
Compliance: Ensure all claims are handled in compliance with state regulations and company policies. Stay updated on changes in insurance laws and regulations.
Collaboration: Work closely with contractors, appraisers, and other professionals to support the claims process. Coordinate with legal teams when necessary.
Continuing Education: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on industry best practices and trends.
