Registered Nurse – High-Risk Postpartum Nurse

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with at least 2 years of experience in high-risk postpartum care.
• BLS and NRP certification required.
• Strong ability to manage complications such as preeclampsia, hemorrhage, and infections.
• Experience with post-surgical C-section recovery and pain management.

Duties:

• Provide specialized postpartum care for mothers with medical complications.
• Monitor for postpartum hemorrhage, hypertensive disorders, and infections.
• Educate high-risk patients on warning signs and home care instructions.
• Assist mothers recovering from cesarean sections and complex deliveries.
• Support patients with mental health concerns, including postpartum depression.
• Administer IV medications, transfusions, and pain management interventions.
• Document high-risk postpartum care interventions and patient responses.

Pay:

• Medium weekly pay range: $2,200 - $2,800
