POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Screen Print Production Assistant to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in our screen printing operation, handling both screen room preparation and production assistance duties. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of maintaining high quality standards while meeting production deadlines.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Screen Room Duties:

• Prepare and maintain screens through proper cleaning, reclaiming, and degreasing processes
• Apply emulsion to screens with consistent coating thickness
• Perform quality checks on prepared screens
• Mix inks and maintain proper ink inventory
• Clean and maintain squeegees and flood bars
• Apply block-out and tape screens for production
• Maintain organized and clean work areas

Production Support:

• Assist with catch position at the dryer exit
• Inspect, fold, and package finished products
• Record production data and maintain accurate documentation
• Perform quality control checks throughout the production process
• Support screen printers as needed
• Help maintain production equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous screen printing experience preferred but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic computer skills for data entry
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Standing/walking for extended periods (8+ hours)
• Repetitive bending and reaching
• Regular lifting and carrying of materials
• Manual dexterity for handling small items
• Color vision for quality control

SCHEDULE:

• Full-time position
• May require flexibility for different shifts
• Occasional overtime as needed
