Job Description

Blot Engineering, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate will demonstrate responsibility, a proactive approach to project management, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Excellent communication skills with clients and customers are essential.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Provide civil, structural, and marine engineering designs in accordance with company standards and specifications and produce construction drawings for a diverse range of municipal, industrial, marine, commercial, and residential projects while adhering to project schedules and deadlines. 
• Prepare engineering calculations utilizing standard methodologies and established civil, structural, and marine engineering principles. 
• Review vendor drawings and other documentation and create preliminary drawings or sketches for drafting and integration into final plans. 
• Demonstrate the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, vendors, and other members of the architectural and engineering team. 
• A strong familiarity with steel, concrete, foundation systems, masonry, wood structures, seawalls, docks, stormwater management, and site/utility designs is essential.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Licensed P.E. in the State of Florida
• 10+ Years Experience
• Familiar with Structural Design Software (TEDDS, STAAD.pro), Seawall Design Software (PileBuck SPW911), Stormwater Modeling Software (Streamline Technologies ICPR4), and AutoCAD preferred
