We are looking for a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our innovative virtual learning community. This fully remote role provides a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys, all while working from the comfort of your own home.

Position Overview:
As a Virtual Special Education Teacher, you'll play a key role in supporting students with diverse learning needs. You'll create and deliver individualized education programs (IEPs) that cater to each student's unique strengths and challenges. We're seeking a dedicated educator who excels in online teaching and has a solid understanding of educational technology to foster an engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver tailored lessons through virtual platforms to meet the diverse needs of students.
Create, implement, and track IEPs in accordance with federal and state guidelines.
Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure students receive the necessary accommodations and modifications.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student progress records and documentation.
Host virtual meetings with parents, colleagues, and other key stakeholders to discuss student progress.
Support and advise parents/guardians on effective learning strategies to help students succeed.
Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings to grow professionally and stay up-to-date on best practices.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid Special Education teaching license (Ohio endorsement).
At least 2 years of experience teaching in a school setting.
Comfortable using virtual learning platforms and educational technology tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Proven experience in developing and implementing IEPs.
Ability to work independently while staying connected with a collaborative team.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 48,000.00 64,000.00 Per Year
