Job Title: USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING LEAD

Project Intro:

State clients Policy Business Technology User Acceptance Testing Team is responsible for the coordination of testing of key functions impacted by system/product changes to ensure they work properly prior to release to production.

Client is looking for a Candidate with:
23 years experience.
Knowledge how to write Test Scripts
Jira Knowledge is not required but a Plus
Experience executing Test Plans and Managing a release.

Objective:

The consulting resource shall support State Clients Policy Operations and related departments through the planning and execution phases of User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The UAT effort is for new and existing applications/software. The consultant will provide professional services to understand endtoend system processes business requirement documents and change requests. The consulting resource will write and/or update Detailed Test Scenarios based upon collaboration with subject matter experts. The consulting resource will obtain policies to run the test cases through database queries manual or automated staging. The consulting resource will create professional reports support training and suggest process improvements.

Deliverables:

1. Develop and record the results of Detailed Testing Scenarios (DTS) created from business requirements for multiple systems used by Field Operations teams (for example: underwriting billing auditing safety & health customer portal quoting).
2. Detailed Testing Scenarios shall be clearly and concisely documented and results recorded in the approved software development tool to support defect replication and regression efforts.
3. Submit DTS for review by a subject matter expert and revise DTS based upon feedback.
4. Participate in training sessions with subject matter experts to quickly become familiar with State Clients systems requirements and procedures.
5. Generate reports on UAT progress and defect management.
6. Coordinate and lead UAT at the release level to include test planning and training business testers.
7. Ensures that all project documentation is produced in the standard format. Internal documentation is subject to review and approval from a State Clients subject matter expert prior to delivery to client.
8. Creates test policies for DTS using VMware automation tool.
9. Attends and contributes to project meetings.
10. Facilitate weekly and as needed checkins with business testing resources.
11. Participates in problem and issue resolution.
12. Promotes high quality scalable and timely completion of project timelines.
