Job Description

Are you a creative video producer with a passion for storytelling and brand building? 

This is a unique opportunity for an exceptionally talented video producer to build our client Nectar’s (nectarhr.com) digital media presence. We’re looking for a strong creative to lead the building out of Nectar’s YouTube presence and content strategy…from ideation, to format development, to producing and editing. You’ll be at the forefront of showcasing Nectar’s brand to the world and will have an unbelievable impact.

Nectar is a software company that enables businesses to create cultures that people won’t want to leave. Their innovative, industry-leading approach is breaking the mold of how companies think about employee recognition and rewards. Nectar is building their brand as the leading authority in corporate culture, and are looking to create content on YouTube to do so. You’ll be creating content that explores various dimensions of corporate culture, such as recognition, transparency, and trust, in compelling formats that are entertaining, yet substantive.

You won’t be at it alone, either. You’ll receive YouTube specific guidance from the very same people that have grown YouTube channels to 10M subscribers & 5B views, using some of the most innovative creative formats. This will serve as an unparalleled learning experience, and you will develop an enviable skillset.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute a compelling content strategy for Nectar’s YouTube channel.
  • Script and film content that explore various elements of corporate culture to build Nectar’s brand.
  • Edit videos to tell compelling stories that hook audiences and keeps them watching.
  • Work autonomously in a high-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Experience: 4+ years experience as a “preditor” (producer, director, editor)
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Adobe Suite, especially Premiere Pro
  • Storytelling Ability: strong ability to create highly entertaining video formats about corporate recognition and culture
  • Attitude: willingness to problem solve, take initiative, and be proactive in driving success
  • Leadership: ability to run autonomously and lead the building of a new digital media production department from scratch
  • Location: must be willing to work in-office in Lehi, Utah (relocate if needed)
