Job Summary:

Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Maintain accurate transactions and filing records
• Sort incoming mail and distribute to appropriate departments/individuals
• Handle outgoing mail
• Perform data entry and general administrative tasks
• Assist with additional duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience with AP/AR and basic accounting functions
• Fast and accurate typing skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience with AP/AR and basic accounting functions is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
