Overview:

Townsend Veterinarian Hospital is seeking an experienced and dedicated Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our thriving veterinary practice. This role is essential in ensuring exceptional patient care, team leadership, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to manage multiple responsibilities, and committed to maintaining a positive environment for both staff and clients. Compensation will be based on knowledge and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling, animal care, and client interactions.
• Lead and mentor a team of veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff, ensuring high standards of patient care and efficiency.
• Implement and manage policies and procedures that reflect the hospital’s mission and goals.
• Maintain accurate records of patient medical histories, laboratory results, and financial collections.
• Manage inventory and oversee the ordering of medical supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations, terminology, and standards.
• Develop and oversee the practice's budget and financial plans.
• Foster strong client relationships, ensuring excellent service and communication.
• Stay informed about advancements in veterinary medicine and technologies to enhance practice performance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in veterinary practice management or a similar leadership role.
• Knowledge of animal care, handling, and veterinary procedures.
• Familiarity with medical collections and laboratory protocols.
• Proficiency in veterinary terminology and the ability to convey complex medical information.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• A passion for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring animal well-being.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts with flexible scheduling options.

Experience Requirements:

• Animal handling: 1 year (preferred)
• Management: 1 year (required)
