Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Danish-Speaking Content Moderator to join our growing team in Qormi, Malta. If you are fluent in Danish and passionate about maintaining a safe and engaging online environment, this role is perfect for you. Previous experience is welcome but not essential, as we offer comprehensive training for candidates eager to learn.

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and moderating user-generated content across various platforms, ensuring it aligns with community standards and company policies. This position offers a hybrid work model , with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.

Main Responsibilities:

• Content Moderation: Review and monitor user-generated content, including images, videos, text, and other media, to ensure it complies with community guidelines, platform policies, and legal standards.
• Maintain Quality Standards: Identify and report inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content that violates platform rules.
• Promote Community Safety: Help foster a positive and safe online environment by enforcing community and company policies.
• Escalation & Reporting: Flag repeated violations and escalate complex or urgent cases to senior team members or legal departments as needed.
• Achieve Performance Targets: Meet performance benchmarks, including review accuracy, decision-making speed, and overall quality.
• Collaborative Effort: Work closely with other moderators and policy experts to ensure consistency and effectiveness in content moderation.
• Policy Awareness: Stay updated on content moderation guidelines, industry regulations, and platform-specific policies to apply the latest standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Danish and strong English language skills.
• Effective Communicator: Able to communicate clearly in both written and spoken form to facilitate team coordination.
• Meticulous & Detail-Oriented: A strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail when reviewing content.
• Critical Thinking & Decision Making: Capable of analyzing content and making fast, sound judgments about whether it violates platform guidelines.
• Adaptability & Resilience: Comfortable handling potentially sensitive or distressing material while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Comfortable with Technology: Able to quickly learn and navigate different online platforms and software tools.

Preferred but Not Essential:

• Experience in Content Moderation: Previous experience is an asset but not required. We provide full training to help you succeed.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, online content management, or moderation systems would be a bonus.
