Vehicle Operator
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Vehicle Operator to join our team. As a Vehicle Operator, you will be responsible for driving an automatic transmission box truck and/or pick-up truck to deliver products to our commercial customers within the state of Virginia. You will follow designated routes and schedules, ensure the safe transportation of goods, and provide excellent customer service. In addition to driving, you will also be involved in general labor duties when not making deliveries. If you have a valid driver's license, proven experience as a delivery driver, and the ability to work in various weather conditions, we would love to hear from you.

-Pay: $18/hr
Roles and Responsibilities:
Drive an automatic transmission box truck and/or pick-up truck to deliver products to commercial customers within the state of Virginia
Follow designated routes and time schedules to ensure timely deliveries
Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate the delivery vehicle
Complete necessary logs and reports accurately and in a timely manner
Adhere to all regulations and safety standards while driving and delivering products
Obtain customer signatures on delivery paperwork
Count and package sheet metal products
Assist in moving products using hand, cart, pallet jack, or forklift
Perform general labor duties when not engaged in delivery tasks
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
Valid driver's license (non-CDL)
Ability to operate forklifts to load and unload tractor trailers and straight trucks preferred
Experience in material handling and moving odd-sized or oversize products with a forklift (helpful but not required)
Ability to drive in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Good driving record with no traffic violations, meeting our insurance requirements
Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, sitting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
Proficient in performing repetitive hand and finger movements
Must have reliable transportation and/or the ability to arrive at work on time every day
Good attendance is mandatory, and flexibility for overtime is required
