This is Jim Ward , a Special Education Hiring Manager with Cross Country Education,  and I am currently hiring for Special Education Teacher at a local school in Pasadena, CA 91101

We are Seeking a dedicated Mild/Moderate Special Education Teacher to support Pasadena Unified School District's special education programs. This is a non-teaching role, this position involves Serving as a Mild/Moderate Special Education teacher, focusing on assessments and reporting without teaching responsibilities. Splitting time between Learning Works Middle School (0.5 FTE) at 90 N Daisy Ave, Pasadena, CA, and various private school cases or other sites with high caseloads.

• Traveling between campuses, with mileage reimbursement provided
• Completing student assessments, determining present levels, writing reports, and developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

This is a full-time position offering benefits and 401 K , available on school days, with competitive compensation based on experience.

Compensation : $55 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
Estimated Annual Salary Range : $77,000 +
Bonuses: $1,000 Holiday Break Bonus
$800.00 spring Break Bonus

Requirements :

• Valid California Mild/Moderate Special Education Credential
• Autism Certification
• English Learner Certification
